They have offered up to the winner....

....wait for it

....their entire Single Hearts line!!! No need to pick from their entire color selection...they are sending all ten!

----------------------------------------

Life's like a road that you travel on
When there's one day here and the next day gone
Sometimes you bend, sometimes you stand
Sometimes you turn your back to the wind
There's a world outside every darkened door
Where blues won't haunt you anymore
Where brave are free and lovers soar
Come ride with me to the distant shore
We won't hesitate
To break down the garden gate
There's not much time left today

Life is a highway
I wanna ride it all night long
If you're going my way
I wanna drive it all night long

Through all these cities and all these towns
It's in my blood and it's all around
I love you now like I loved you then
This is the road and these are the hands
From Mozambique to those Memphis nights
The Khyber Pass to Vancouver's lights

Knock me down get back up again
You're in my blood
I'm not a lonely man
There's no load I can't hold
Road so rough this I know
I'll be there when the light comes in
Just tell 'em we're survivors

There was a distance between you and I
A misunderstanding once
But now we look it in the eye

There ain't no load that I can't hold
Road so rough this I know
I'll be there when the light comes in
Just tell 'em we're survivors

Week 23 - Little Wonders

We are 1/2way through our month of children's movie theme songs. This week we are singing along with one of my favorite kids movies that I think everyone should see. Even if they don't have kiddos, it's a great movie. The song is by Rob Thomas and is called, "Little Wonders." The song is so beautiful. As you'll see from our DT inspiration, there are so many ways to interpret these lyrics.

This week's is The Stamping Boutiique

I'm Tracey Malnofski, the artist and owner of The Stamping Boutique. My team and I are very happy to sponsor Scrap it Witha Song this week. My store has been open since September 2009. I've worked for InStyleStamps, Squigglefly, and TheDigiShack. I'm a professional artist and an active member of the Artist' Guild in my community. I have quite a busy household with a husband, 3 teenagers, 5 mini-dachshunds and an Appaloosa mare. It's noisy, but I love them all. I'm truly blessed.

"The Stamping Boutique" is dedicated to quality products and original artwork. We not only provide wonderful digital images in our store, but also several lines of red rubber images. Our designers are chosen for their character and personality,as well as, their beautiful designs. We work hard to give you our very best. Thank you so much for having us as your sponsor this week.

They have offered up to the winner 5 digi images for your crafting pleasures!! Seriously, everyone needs to skidadle on over to their site and take a looksey. I have started my wish list!!!

----------------------------------------

Let it go, let it roll right off your shoulder
Don’t you know the hardest part is over
Let it in, let your clarity define you
In the end we will only just remember how it feels

Our lives are made in these small hours
These little wonders,
These twists and turns of fate
Time falls away, but these small hours,
These small hours still remain

Let it slide, let your troubles fall behind you
Let it shine until you feel it all around you
And I don’t mind if it’s me you need to turn to
We’ll get by, it’s the heart that really
Matters in the end

All of my regret will wash away some how
But I can not forget the way I feel right now

Week 22 - Upside Down

Week numero dos of our month of children's movie theme songs is getting a late start. I have enjoyed a wonderful vacation followed by a ridiculously time consuming trip home. Almost bad enough to ruin the awesome trip that preceeded it! It took us 12 hours to make a 5 1/2 hour drive and now I'm posting from the urgent care center where I sit with my middle child who passed out at the store tonight. Which brought us to the realization that she's running a 105 degree fever. So well wishes sent her way would be super helpful ladies. So, in order to give you a little extra time, this challenge will close at midnight Sunday rather than noon.

Our song this week is the theme from the Curious George movie. Upside Down by Jack Johnson.

This week is being sponsored by....ME!! The winner will be receiving a very fun assortment of primas. I will update this post with a photo once I'm home.

----------------------------------------

Who's to say
What's impossible
Well they forgot
This world keeps spinning
And with each new day
I can feel a change in everything
And as the surface breaks reflections fade
But in some ways they remain the same
And as my mind begins to spread its wings
There's no stopping curiosity

I want to turn the whole thing upside down
I'll find the things they say just can't be found
I'll share this love I find with everyone
We'll sing and dance to Mother Nature's songs
I don't want this feeling to go away

Who's to say
I can't do everything
Well I can try
And as I roll along I begin to find
Things aren't always just what they seem

I want to turn the whole thing upside down
I'll find the things they say just can't be found
I'll share this love I find with everyone
We'll sing and dance to Mother Nature's songs
This world keeps spinning and there's no time to waste
Well it all keeps spinning spinning round and round and

Upside down
Who's to say what's impossible and can't be found
I don't want this feeling to go away

Please don't go away
Please don't go away
Please don't go away
Is this how it's supposed to be
Is this how it's supposed to be

It's rainin' winners around here!!

Sorry for the late post guys. I went on vacation expecting to be home in plenty of time to get this all posted and that did NOT happen! Unfortunately for all the plans I had set, it seems everytime I take a road trip something goes haywire....maybe I should stick with planes! LOL! If you are waiting to hear from me via email about something...that's why you haven't as well and I'm catching up on that next. The current week's challenge will be posted later tonight, but I wanted to announce the winners before I got too far in catching up here at home. Also, as a side note....the link app was having issues Sunday. So all entries that were left in the comments regardless of the time it was posted were in included in the draw.

This past week was the Scrap It With a Song blog hop in honor of the always fun, and totally wackadoodle MTV music awards. The DT and I had such a great time rockin' out to our favorite music with you and were so excited to share some goodies along the way too. First up was our weekly challenge. Week #21 was, 'You'll Be In My Heart' by Phil Collins. Our sponsor was the UBER adorable Sew Many Cards. One lucky winner will receive 5 images from their shop. That lucky crafter (if you will please email me at scrapitwithasong(at)yahoo(dot)com) is:

Week 21 - You'll Be In My Heart

The past few weeks and the next few weeks too, will see many of us shipping our kiddos back to school. Of course some of our readers are overseas or don't have little ones at home, but I for one am celebrating the quiet! LOL So this week will kick off a month of theme songs from some awesome kid's movies. First up is Disney's Tarzan. The theme song is called, 'You'll Be In My Heart' by Phil Collins. So grab a tissue, then get to scrappin'!!

This week is being sponsored again by the adorable Sew Many Cards!!!

My name is Angela and I own Sew Many Cards. I have a husband, an almost 10year old daughter, a two year old son, and a dog/puppy: Hershey. The images of Sew Many Cards came from a dream that my husband had of a group of animals that were "SEWN Together" with patches and stitching, hence the name, which he also came up with. You will find that every image in the Sew Many Cards collection has patches and stitching, even the ones that are not animals. I love to draw and almost every image is either an inspiration from my family or a request from my great customers and design team, so please ask if you need something specific or would like to request something be made. You can contact me at angela@sewmanycards.com

They have offered up to the winner of this week's challenge FIVE digi images from their shop. I can't wait to see what you all create :)
----------------------------------------

Come stop your crying
It will be all right
Just take my hand Hold it tight

I will protect you
from all around you
I will be here
Don't you cry

For one so small,
you seem so strong
My arms will hold you,
keep you safe and warm
This bond between us
Can't be broken
I will be here
Don't you cry

'Cause you'll be in my heart
Yes, you'll be in my heart
From this day on
Now and forever more

You'll be in my heart
No matter what they say
You'll be here in my heart, always

Why can't they understand
the way we feel
They just don't trust
what they can't explain
I know we're different but,
deep inside us
We're not that different at all

And you'll be in my heart
Yes, you'll be in my heart
From this day on
Now and forever more

Don't listen to them
'Cause what do they know
We need each other,
to have, to hold
They'll see in time
I know

When destiny calls you
You must be strong
I may not be with you
But you've got to hold on
They'll see in time
I know
We'll show them together

'Cause you'll be in my heart
Yes, you'll be in my heart
From this day on,
Now and forever more

Oh, you'll be in my heart
No matter what they say
You'll be in my heart, always
Always
