Pop Team: Let’s celebrate Halloween with a movie cover art

Another news here on SIWAS…This week let us inspire by this beautiful movie art work. A very beautiful movie by Tim Burton. You can use the title, the colors, the songs, the characters…anything you want…Happy Halloween to everyone :)

Because we don't celebrate Halloween in the Netherlands, I had to search for other photo's and so I thought that these photo's, that were taken on my boy's end of the year party at school with the theme; fairytale would be also perfect to be on a Halloween page :-)

I copied the spooky swirl on the poster for my LO about my boys and their friend doing science experiments at the Nemo museum in Amsterdam

This time I used part of the title of the song as part of my title ....my oldest is such a "Thrill" rider on all rides ....and guess who usually has to ride the rides with him ...ME!!!

Now he is old enough to ride them by his self ...but old mom still likes to ride a few!!!

These pictures are from a few years ago from riding the "Tower of Terror" at Disneyland!!!

We don't tend to celebrate Halloween in Australia so I've gone with a line from the song which works well for my sunset photo.  I love this time when the earth is still and we are caught transfixed between the end of day and the beginning of night.

I was inspired by the lyrics: "You see a sight that almost stops your heart".

It reminded me of the time I walked into my daughters room and found her lying down with her head hanging over the bed, her long hair flowing down. The sight of her like that totally scared me and I felt like I was going to have a heart attack!

I made two LOS for this song- they both take the line candy stripe legs
the first LO is about the spider that lived on our window last year which reallt did have candy stripe legs

The second used the same line- this picture is Nancy dressed for Halloween and she did have striped legs.
i made a bakers twine web and used embossed web paper to fit with the spider in the lyrics

I used some old Halloween products that worked great for this challenge ....this was the first time I let my oldest dress scary because my little one get scared so easily ...so these pictures were perfect for this challenge ...the colors orange, green, black, and red I used from the album cover and the pumpkins and flag were also inspired from the awesome album cover ...loved it !!!
