A little more inspiration from Sharon using "Avec Les Mains" printables

Our Sponsor over at SIWAS is a French Online Store with downloadable papers for scrapbooking and also other projects.  I have used four different  elements that I downloaded from their store.  The first one is one called Green Jungle, next is called Imitation Pixels - Rose Color,  also a  paper called Rayures Rose Sucre Scrap and the fourth is a label from a set of 10 labels called 10 Etiquette's .  The pictures are matted in the Rayures Rose paper and then the Green Jungle is the next layer, the Imitation Pixels are next (the gear).  The title is on the label.  To see what Avec Les Maines has check out their web site.

Now for my layout.  I used one of the wonderful Stuck?!Sketches sketch, since this month we are working together.  

Also, notice that the label has a shadow under it,  that is because the picture and label lifts to show two pictures underneath.  The other paper on this layout is paper from my stash, some that I have had for quite some time.  This layout is of my granddaughter as she played Little Red Riding Hood in a play from the Missoula Children's Theater Group.  We are so proud of her and of course she did a wonderful job.  I am on the rock team so I was inspired by the song Stairway to Heaven by thinking of my grandchildren as they are my little piece of heaven here on earth.

This digital scrapbook page was inspired by the first few words in the song...I'll Never See... I never thought I would see a pumpkin patch whilst stationed in Oklahoma. Well, I found a pumpkin patch & got to take a photo of Jack's first time ever seeing a pumpkin, pretty neat.

Scrap it With a Song is excited to announce that we are accepting applications for our next term.  If you love to be inspired by songs and want to inspire others with your works, we are looking for you!
We are in search of Designers who are enthusiastic, reliable and committed.  
We welcome International, past and present designer submissions.

What are we looking for? 

Creative people from all over the world that make pretty paper projects inspired by songs: we love scrapbookers, art journalers, tag-ers, ATC-ers, card makers, altered artists. You make them all? Good! You make only one kind of paper craft? Good! As long as you love to play with paper, glue and all the other pretty stuff and like to tell people about it, you’re good! 
Previous DT experience is not required!
We have a Facebook group for the DT, so you need to have a Facebook account to stay in communication with us. 
You need to know English at a quite good level: we are an Italian based blog with international DT and readers, so you need to write post and comment in English. 

Dates To Remember:
Submissions will be taken until:  December 5, 2015
Submissions selected will be notified via email: December 10, 2015
New Design Team will be announced:  December 28, 2015
New Design Reveals: January 1 ~ January 15, 2016

SIWAS Design Team Requirements:
Commit to a 6 month term: January 1 – June 31, 2016
Complete a project a month (Challenges are posted on our private group 2-3 months in advance with due dates).
Make an additional project during your term: it can be a step by step tutorial, a video, whatever you like.
Visit challenge participants blogs and leave comments.
Maintain an active and updated blog.
Post our challenges, events, and your projects on your blog on reveal day and link back to the SIWAS Blog.
Promote SIWAS challenges and events on Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Display the SIWAS “Design Team badge” on your blog.  
Actively participate in one blog hop or event during the term.  
Submit your DT reveals no later than five days before scheduled post.
Have a Facebook account.  Our Design Team Group is on FB and that is how we communicate with the team.

You must be able to take quality pictures and write up a short post about your projects.

During your term you will decide one challenge: we will assign you a month and it will be your duty to choose both pop and rock song for the challenge and send a little prize to the winner.

You will be a part of a group of fun loving drama free designers!

I got inspired by the line "There are 2 paths you can go, but there is still time to change the road you're on. It reminds me of a lovely day in Belgium, when we were just driving without any GPS. A roadtrip, we discovered this beautiful town and made a picture of the nice view. I used the line in the journal.

I chose the word "WONDER" from the lyrics as title for my layout about NY: I loved this city so much, and all the USA! It really was a great trip and I hope to come back soon. I decided to rotate the sketch.

 Stairway to Heaven inspired  me to think about what really makes me happy and that is my grandchildren.  This layout is of my granddaughter.  It is of her 4th grade school picture and also pictures taken during her 4th grade year from dance and gymnastics.

This song made me think of my animals....My Pet tarantulas molt like a snake every 6 months and its amazing to watch. There evolving everyday which i think is amazing. So i created  this awesome Mix-media layout using a picture of my Flame Knee Tarantula, whose name is FireBall!! He's Beautiful and recent molted again but he's got a hot temper and gotta keep an eye always on him. I put the title Tarantula in cargo box type lettering using texture paste and stencils. I continued to just layer on and on with prima paper, inks and sprays, die-cuts, tag's, fibers, Sa crafters elements, textures and stencils, and even gauze. I splattered white to finish it all off.

I was inspired by the song title. I chose a nautical theme with octopus and other aquatic animals, with a mix of vintage and modern style.

I was inspired by the lyric; you and me. It was hard to choose a lyric from the song, but I finally did, and this was an easy one. On the photo hubby and son during vacation in France in 2009 ! Seems like yesterday !
