Hello everyone, Astrid here: first of all I want to wish everyone a very very very Happy New Year !!!! I hope lots of creativity is coming your way :-)
Well,  it's my turn this month to challenge you with two songs, let's see what you can do with it. And remember; you can use a lyric, a word, the video or maybe you like the cover of the single. Use anything that inspires you, but please tell us what your inspiration
was.

Hello to all you creative friends! 

Do you create awesome projects and wish you had somewhere to show off your amazing talent? Well, if you do then we want YOU to join our team!

We’re looking for 3 new DT members! 

What are we looking for? 

- Creative people from all over the world that make pretty paper projects: we love scrapbookers, art journalers, tag-ers, ATC-ers, card makers, altered artists. You make them all? Good! You make only one kind of paper craft? Good! As long as you love to play with paper, glue and all the other pretty stuff and like to tell people about it, you’re good! 

- We need people that can submit all projects ON TIME. Although you’re welcome to apply if you are already on other design teams, please make sure that you’re able to commit to being on time and in communication with the team.

**Previous DT experience is not required!**

- We have a Facebook group for the DT, so you need to have a Facebook account to stay in communication with us. 

- You need to know English at a quite good level: we are an Italian based blog with international DT and readers, so you need to write post and comment in English.

What we ask for:

- DT term is 6 months to begin in February 2015. Your assignment requirement will be 1-2 projects a month. Right now we are focused on bringing monthly challenges to our readers (1 project a month). In the future you would be responsible for 2 projects a month because we wanna grow up with the blog and bring some extra inspiration to our lovely readers (in your second post you can write whatever you want: step by step project, speak about a scrapbooking trend, reviewing a product, make a wishlist...)

- You must be able to take quality pictures and write up a short post about your projects. 

- You must comment on challenge entries.
- During your term you will decide one challenge: we will assign you a month and it will be your duty to choose both pop and rock song for the challenge and send a little prize to the winner.

What you get:
- Your name and blog will be put on SIWAS blog and your projects will be shared on our FB page.
-  The opportunity to work with lovely and supportive people and improve your scrapbook by sharing ideas with others.

December challenges: Destiny's Child and Queen

Hello everybody! 

Here is all ready the last challenge of 2014.. In a month full of holidays, Christmas trees and Jingle bells it has to be a Christmas challenge of course... So I have chosen for 2 songs who have a link with this theme. 

The first song you can use is our pop song:

Destiny's child: Winter Paradise. 

A lovely happy song I think.

Well it was easy what I should use from the song, lol, I choose the word "Christmas" on my page, on the photo my boy a few years ago, decorating the tree.

November Challenge- Wham and The Cure

Hi All, 

This month it is Karen bringing you the new challenges for the month.

both of my choices are 80s favorites of mine!!

So the POP choice for the month is

Wham was one of my favorite groups in the 80's I could sing every song of them and my room was full of posters from the boys :-)  For my page I used the lyric; you make the sun shine brighter , and that's what my boy does every day :-)

For my first layout as SIWAS DT I used the song as inspiration for my journal: I handwrote part of the lyrics "you put the boomboom into my heart, you send my soul sky high"  under my husband picture. Please visit my blog if you'd love to see some close-ups.
