December Mid-Month reveal

Hi lovely followers, here we are at the mid-month reveal of December.

We have two  challenges for you:   a POP SONG  and a ROCK SONG as inspiration to create any kind of paper project (altered canvas, card, layout, ATC, art journal…) you choose !!!
You can use lyrics, title, theme or maybe the video to inspire you (here is a link to the challenge rules).

Rock Me Amadeus is one of my favorite songs to clean the house to. It's upbeat and fun to sing. Well after Jack's first bike ride he told me "Momma, this rocks!" and then he said "Just like that song you listen to while cleaning." LOL, kids are little sponges at that age. Now, I hope he will like to "clean the house to that rock song" when he is older.

Please welcome our December Guest Designer!

This month we are very happy to welcome Veronica as our guest designer!

She made a wonderful layout based on our pop song for December (you can see challenges here).

Let's meet Veronica:
"I'm 22, I'm Italian, I work with old people in a care residence for them. I scrap from 2 years, but I always loved paper, colors and stationery since I was a kid. I still have a lot to learn and I hope to do so: I LOVE trying new techniques!
For this layout I was inspired by song title to scrap a picture of my friend Valentina's wedding."

This is a picture of my wedding: of course the song "for the rest of my life" inspired me for the love theme! I am still scrapping my wedding picture after a year and every time I feel so happy! I used the beautiful FabScraps collection C77 "Serenity".


Sharon

This month we are inspired by "For the rest of my life" by Maher Zain.  I had never heard this song or this artist before but when I went on You Tube and looked it up and listened to it, I fell in love with the song.  It is a perfect song for the way I feel about my husband.  After 42 years together I know I will love him for the rest of my life.

So I was inspired by not only the title but the whole song.

I used product from my stash.  Paper - stash, pearls - Paper Studio, stickers - Simple Stories, 

title - Pebbles, ink - Distress Ink Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass, cork butterfly's - stash, and - Wink of Stella Pen  and Bo Bunny Glitter Paste - Gold.

I Was inspired by the colors and tones in the music video for this rock song.

I was inspired by "Amadeus" and I wanted to make a layout featuring a woman of the classical period, who lived in the Mozart's time!!!
