"Dreams really do come true" layout inspired by February pop song + tutorial

Hi lovely SIWAS follower, Giorgia is with you today.

I am on rock DT, but I loved the pop song of this month, so I also made a layout using it as inspiration:

Can you guess how the song inspired me?! Hello, it's me!
This is me getting ready on my wedding day, talking to my LOVE on the phone: it was raining like crazy, we should have an outdoor wedding... it were crazy hours!! Luckily it stopped rainy and we could have our fab ceremony!

I used amazing The Robin's Nest products - I have the chance to be on their DT and I LOVE their products range: amazing glitter cardstock and papers, dew drops (a great alternative to enamel dots, pearls or sequins) and archival seeds.
They offer great and peculiar items, I hope you will take a look on their shop.

February Mid Month Reveal

Happy Valentines Day although it is a day late.  Our songs this month deal with love.  Now it's time to see what the second half of the design team has done. We have these wonderful songs for your inspiration. Listen to the rock song and the pop song and choose one or both and make a layout based on anything the song inspires you to do. Use the song in any way that it inspires you to create a project.  It can be any thing from the title to the way the music makes you feel or even the way the video makes you feel.  Just tell us how the song inspired you.  You may enter several different projects just link up to the linky tool at the top right with a separate link for each project.  It can be a digital creation as well.  You have three prizes that can be won. (If we get enough entries) These will be chosen by random by the linky tool.  The team will choose a project and that designer will be asked to be a guest designer in future.  I hope you will join us this month.

I made a crazy canvas for a crazy song! I was inspired by the funny song and colors in the video and made this colorful, springy canvas.

This song reminds me how much I miss the mountain holidays!!! So I let myself inspired and I created this layout thinking that sooner or later we will return !!! I hope you like it!

The Adele song, HELLO, has two particular phrases that strike me, hello from the outside & hello from the other side.  When I hear those lyrics, I am reminded of when my husband went WAY out of his comfort zone and made all the arrangements to take me on a very special, surprise trip for our 25th wedding anniversary.  He logistically operated on the OTHER SIDE because I am the one that normally plans all aspects of our trips and he also found himself on the OUTSIDE of his normal element because I am the one who enjoys & loves theatrical productions! This page is a continuation layout from my January post, using an open page sketch from Laura Whitaker @ http://scrappinaroundtheclock.blogspot.com/ plus I continued the theme of Gold, also using washi tape and great foil letter Thickers in Lullabye font. A boundary was set using clearance holiday Hobby Lobby circle paper garland as well as a brad securing a simple gold circle embellishment with an embossed heart.

This is my layout for the pop teams reveal for February 15th.  It is using the song by Adele called

HELLO

I love this song and I feel like she is talking to someone she loves.  So this is my cute little dog Bella that I love so much so it is Hello Love. She didn't want to have her picture made so when I held her and she had to take the picture she got me back saying hello LOVE! I got you.

I used a sketch loosely from S & L Designs You can go to her blog and see the sketch.  It is from a long time ago.  I think in 2010.

February 1st Reveal

It is February 1st already and time for a new pop song and a new rock song to give you inspiration for a project.  This month we have some fairly new songs that are on the radio quite a lot.  I really like both of these songs and hope you all do too.  Listen to the rock song and the pop song and choose one or both and make a paper project based on anything the song inspires you to do. It doesn't have to be a scrapbook layout: it can be any type of paper project.  By the way it can even be a digital design.

Inspiration can be anything at all: it can be the title, it can be words in the song, it can be how the song makes you feel, really just any thing that the song inspires you to feel.  Please tell us how the song inspired you on your project.You can do a layout or project for each of the songs, just do separate entries for each.  Link up at the top right with the linky tool.  The winner will be picked at random by the linky tool on the last day of the month.  Also the design team will pick their favorite project and ask the designer to be our guest on the blog in an upcoming month.  We hope you will join all the lovely designers on the team and get some of those projects done while listening to music.

I didn't know this song previously: when I listened to it for the first time it suddenly gave me a sense of fun and happiness. I saw the video and it was so colorful... I wanted to recreate something fun and colorful! These are pictures from 2014 Valentine's Day: me and my hubby toke part in a craft party together! So much fun making felted ornaments - hot air balloons and clouds, so you can understand why I used them as embellishments!

I have still a very well relation (most often) with my ex-husband, and father of my son. I'm happy with that, so I used the word EX to make a LO about him!

I have been thinking a lot about what to do with this song, but the lyric "hello from the otherside" was spinning around my mind. 'the otherside" made me think of out of space, aliens and so on,  and than I remember this photo from last year at the history of the planes museum. I went a little nuts with my stamps and embellies ;-)

I was inspired by the title "Hello" and I wanted to make something funny and try mixed media technique. So, this is a tag that says "Hello" to you!
