Art Journal with Marie - Christine

Hello everyone!

Marie-Christine here.

I would like to share with you a special Art Journal page that I made with the title of May pop song.

I have many Art Journals, this one is a large share format.

As background I used a photographic paper from  Paper House "wedding kit".
I printed and pasted a vintage image found on Pinterest.

Finally, I painted with paint dylusions, some large flowers,  hearts on the top and other decoration.

It is very simple to do!

Mixed Media project by Aya

Hello lovely follower! Today it should be our tutorial day, but the video Aya prepared for you misteriously disappeared, so we only have this pictures to show you her amazing work created taking inspiration from our rock song - we have a couple of songs to use for inspiration and you still have time to link up with us before the end of the month.  We also have some great prizes to be won too. Have a look at the mid month reveal and join in with us!

 Our daughter is a high school graduate as well as from our local junior college. So proud! It's definitely a BEST DAY, inspired from the pop song 'Best Day of My Life' plus in collaboration with ChallengeYOUrself mood board #29, I went with the soothing colors of green and blue and added some flower embellishments. I especially like the peacock feather stamp that went well with this layout. The small pic is of me and baby girl when we were both about 18 months old (30 years difference) and on a few other occasions. So happy for her to begin the next part of her journey. Enjoy!

I was inspired by the song title "Best Day Of My Life"  Not that this was the best day but it was a great day.  It is a happy song and we were happy on vacation and having a good time.  The mood board inspired me in that we were on Spring Break and I was inspired by the blue, yellow and green.  My colors are a little different (lighter) but it was a fun layout to do.

This is me as a baby, yeah I know I had lots of hair, lol. I used the word life in my title and used flowers and a feather from the moodboard.

I've chosen for the word 'Faith' in the lyrics, it was the first big party I went since my boyfriend died and I was dressed in my most beautiful dress. The word faith means faith in myself, faith in others, faith in life. Life goes on!
