New Challenge! Bryan Adams - Heaven!

Up this week is a song with SOO many possibilities!  This song hit #1 on Billboard's Top 100 in June of 1985.  The one & only Bryan Adams and "Heaven" is the challenge for this week!

The aftermath of the September 11th attack caused my business in International Education to go under. One day I found myself not knowing what to do with my life and I asked the Lord to please tell me a gift, a skill, an ability which He has given me but I wasn’t aware of. He lead me to read 2 Kings 4:1-7 where a widow was in the same situation as I was. After I read it I asked Him what I had in my house and He told me "PAPER". It’s been almost 8 years since I found a new passion and a new career in my life. I have been scrapbooking and making cards ever since! I love to teach, to design and to share this beautiful hobby with those whom He brings into my life.

Karen chose to go with the opening line, thinking about our younger years!  The photo is of her when she was 2!  I love it!

Karen's layout inspired me so here is a picture of me & my best friend of 23 years.  Our mothers made us these dresses for Easter, we still bring up the topic of these UGLY dresses we had to wear :D  I think that's what we were laughing about in the picture too!!  It's the first thing that pops up in our head when we are talking about our younger years :D

Tiffany just lost a dear friend of her's, so this challenge was perfect scrap-therapy for her.  ((Hugs Tiff))

Guest DT Beatriz

 Bea is a brand new "Abuela"  Her son & daughter in law just had a baby a few weeks ago!  Congrats to all and check out this adorable double layout!  Here are some more details!

New challenge - Coldplay "YELLOW"

Hi everyone!!
Carla here with you this week, with the rest of the Rocker chicks, and two great guest designers!  We have another fabulous Coldplay song up on the playlist this week - YELLOW!  This is a great song that can be interpreted so many different ways - I can't wait to share with you what the designers have created with this one!

My name is Laurel Seabrook and I am so honored to have been asked to be a Guest Designer at Scrap it With a Song.  I teach grade one by day and love to paper craft at night.  I have 2 girls ages 16 and 13 who keep me busy but give me great scrapping opportunities!  I have had the priviledge to have been published in several Card and Scrapbook magazines and have been a member of a variety of Design Teams.

New Challenge! Cold Play "Fix You"

Hello everyone!  Thank you for checking back in with us!  We are ready to get the playlist started again and thanks so much for being patient with us, getting the kids back to school is some crazy business!  This week we've got I think an amazing song, one of my all time favorites!  This week the Pop Gals are featuring Cold Play's "Fix You."

Design Team Call (Term Oct 2011- April 2012)

We are looking for some fresh new faces, some up & coming stars!  We have DT positions as well as Guest DT positions and we need to get this playlist jamming!  We are looking for YOU!  We will be accepting applications until Sept 20th and our new DT will be announced the first challenge in October!  The term is running from Oct 11 - April 12.  You are required to participate in 2 challenges a month.  You will be given the challenges a month in advance.  As a member of our DT you will need to promote the challenge on your blog, facebook or twitter account.  You will also be required to comment on participants entries!  No prior DT experience needed!  Please send the following information to SIWASdt(at)gmail.com...
