Our design team call yielded absolutely astonishing results. I think about 75% of those of you that signed up as followers the first week applied. It means so much to me that you would want to be a part of this journey with me. It was so difficult narrowing the field down to the 4 crafters I planned to have join me...so hard that I ended up only being able to narrow it down to 5! In the end, I tried to pull people who all had very different styles to give us a big variety of examples.
There was not one submission that I wouldn't have been proud to have displayed on this blog for the world to see and and at some points I was literally having to eenie meenie minie moe it. So if you were not selected, please believe me when I tell you I would LOVE to have you resubmit your app when we select a new DT in a few months!! I also hope I will get to continue seeing your work week after week entering the challenges :)

Hey...That's ME! I am a 30yr old stay at home mom to 3 sweet peas in Kansas. My hubby and I have a 10yr old, a 6yr old and a newborn to keep us very busy. When I'm not chasing them around, you will find me at my craft table. My first love is good old fashioned paper and scissors scrappin', but I also enjoy digi scrapping and card making. I'm a big fan of all kinds of music and I almost always have my iPod blaring when I'm feeling creative.
Tina
Hi there, my name is Tina and I am a SAHM of 5 boys in Knoxville, Tn. I scrap to stay sane....and sometimes it even works....lol. I have been scrapping for almost 5 years....most of that time has been spent digital scrapping, I recently renewed my love affair with paper tho and you wil see lots of those kinds of LO's from me as well. My style leans towards grungy, funky, and just plain fun. Usually I talk and blab a mile a minute but I have been put on the spot here and can't think of one single interesting thing to say......LOL.
Jess
I’m a 22 year old college student studying to become an elementary school teacher. I began scrapbooking after a trip to Italy when I was sixteen. As time went on I got more interested in techniques and all the wonderful products that are available out there. I love to make layouts, cards and altered projects. I try to concentrate on journaling and recording events beyond the pictures when I scrapbook. For the most part I think my style is clean and simple. I love bright strong colors and original patterns. While I love embellies I can never seem to add enough to ever make a dent in the stash I’ve collected. I find challenge blogs to be my main source of inspiration so I am so excited to be part of Scrap It With a Song and hope that all our participants will be inspired by the great challenges and DT creations!
Angela
My name is Angela. I am English and I have been married to the most wonderful man for 13 years now. He not only supports my crafting and scrapbooking hobby - he buys me goodies for it too. We have 3 wonderful children and I stay at home to look afterthem. I get pocket money from designing scrapbooking and crafting kits. I love digital scrapbooking, it's so addictive. My husband is addicted to taking photos, so it's a great partnership. I also love paper crafting and sometimes mix and match the 2 and create what we call a hybrid project.
Hannah
My name is Hannah, I'm 23 years old. When I was about 8 or 9 years old, my mom let me start my own scrapbook and over the years that hobby has morphed into this addiction to card making. I've been doing it "officially" for several years, but I've been making all kinds of crafts ever since I was little! I love using bold colors and interesting textures on my projects. My second love (or maybe they're tied!) is music--listening, playing or singing-- which is why I'm so excited about being a part of this blog!
My name is Ana White, and I am a stay at home mom to two little girls living in Northern VA. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Jonathan, for 4.5 years. Prior to staying at home, I was a high school teacher. I started scrapbooking while on bed rest with my first daughter about four years ago and I was warned that it was a very addictive. Well those who warned me were right; I am totally addicted to the entire process. And scrapbooking has taught me so many things- that perfection isn’t necessary and mistakes are alright.
I want to thank everyone again for showing such support to this new challenge blog. I can't wait to see everyone's amazing work. I want each challenge to inspire you to create wonderful layouts, but if the flow takes your towards a card or altered project....let it!!! I tried to select a DT with varying styles and that work in different mediums. I hope you enjoy seeing their work as much as I have the past week.
Congratulations to everyone! I Can't wait to share more with all of you in this awesome journey. Thank you Christina for all your hard work and putting the DT together. Happy Wednesday everyone!!!!
