Week #7 - I Hope You Dance

Your layouts last week ladies, were SWEET!! Loved every one of them. This week's song is Lee Ann Womack's I Hope You Dance. There are lot's of scrappy themes here. From living, loving, dancing, faith and opportunity....even the ocean!! Among many other ideas. I am willing to bet we see a BIG variety of layouts this week!

Our generous sponsor for week #7 is The Craft Garden. They have donated a £10 gift certificate to their site to the big winner this week!!!

The craft garden is the supplier of smaller more realistic amounts of craft flowers ideal for trying before you buy a larger pack or just when you want a small amount. They also have a range of other crafty products to help you with all of your creative needs. They also have a product of the week posted each Monday that is listed at half price while supplies last! What's better than great scrappy supplies? Half price great scrappy supplies!!!

I hope you never lose your sense of wonder
You get your fill to eat, but always keep that hunger
May you never take one single breath for granted
God forbid love ever leave you empty handed
I hope you still feel small when you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me you'll give faith a fighting chance

And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance. I hope you dance

I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance
Never settle for the path of least resistance
Living might mean taking chances, but they're worth taking
Lovin' might be a mistake, but it's worth making
Don't let some hell bent heart leave you bitter
When you come close to selling out, reconsider
Give the heavens above more than just a passing glance

(Time is a real and constant motion always)
(Rolling us along)
(Tell me who)
(Wants to look back on their youth and wonder)
(Where those years have gone)

The song this week stumped some of our DT. Myself more than
anyone, I think! We all came through with inspiration for you all,
butI think we really struggled to find our way at first!

You have until Sunday high noon (cdt), June 6th to submit your creation. We are a multicraft challenge blog, so feel free to use the lyrics to inspire a layout, card or any altered project!

  1. Wonderful song and you ladies did a great job.

  2. Great design team projects. This song is kind of a tough one.....

  5. I was looking for this song, so here it is, my LO. I hope you like. Hugs, Nataliya.

  6. You came by my blog awhile back and gave me the link to this one. I've been busy and am just now getting around to coming by. I wish I would have come by sooner. I love this song, and I have the perfect pictures to go with it. I just don't think I'll have time to get the layout done by tomorrow. I might do it anyway just for myself. I will play along with the next song.

Thank you for taking the time to comment :)
