Design Team Announcement

We have some sad goodbyes at Scrap It With A Song. Lisa and Tina are stepping down and they will definitely be missed!!! They have been great assets to our design team.

What does that mean? We have a new addition to our Design Team. Karen Williams will be a new face on our design team and we are excited to have her. Here is her info:

I am a 36 year old mother of three who has been scrapbooking since the birth of my daughter three and half years ago ( Nancy thinks the half is very important).

Originally from the UK, I am currently living in the Netherlands, hence my new found SAHM status, ( In the UK I was a teacher). I like simple scrapping, half an hour is my average time on a LO, and with three children in the house you
can understand why. I set myself the challenge of making 365 LOs this year, I stopped count in November when I got to 370! I love chocolate, pizza boxes from the postman, day trips to Amsterdam, shoes, crime novels, knitting, CSI on TV ,baking, taking photographs, Strictly Come Dancing/ dancing with the Stars, scrapbooking of course, and the spring, I hate talking about myself, bananas, dentists, taking my children for jabs , having my hair cut, bananas, that I still bite my nails, and my oven. ( the oven is a long story) (yes bananas is in there twice- I really hate bananas - another long story).

Week 35... Just the Two Of Us

Hi all!!! Sorry for the delay in our post!!! Because of the late start, I am extending the deadline until 5pm on Monday, December 20, 2010.

First let us say goodbye to our outgoing Design Team Members Liz and Ana!!! They have been a wonderful addition to our Design Team and will be missed. 

Next, it is time to announce our new Design Team members.  There were a lot of really great submissions and we wish we could have picked everyone!!  Here is a little bit about our two new design team members that are starting this month!!!!

I have been scrapbooking for about 6 year and the majority of my scrapbooking revolves around my family.  I love to scrapbook everyday life! It the little things I always want to remember.  My favorite products are paper, punches, and ink. I love to find ways to use old products!  I enjoy having a blog and being on Design Teams to help inspire other to try something they may not have before!

Samantha van Brakel

Hi everybody! My name is Samantha and I live in the Netherlands, I will be 24 in January but for now I’m still 23. I have a English Bulldog, his name is Bink and he is my everything! I love to scrap pictures of him and I have lots of those! :)  But he is not the only one I scrap about, I love to scrap pictures of my family, my friends, the kids that live next door and everything else that catches my eye.  I love to work with different design papers, foam tape, paint, scissors and everything else that’s on my desk :) (it’s usually a mess!) I’m super excited to be a part of this team and I hope that I can inspire you to scrap with all the amazing songs that come by here.
